Top Mount Platform - For the addition of a top mounted camera, this 3" wide (side to side) X 6" long (front to back) platform easily attaches to the Velocity and Ion helmet. The top mount platform is contoured to the shape of the Velocity which helps reduce the chance of line entrapment. It's unique "hinged top" design allows for quick access to the camera tripod mount screw to secure or remove the camera. The top mount platform features a twin-point helmet attachment and "variable pitch" for adjusting the camera's angle. This camera mount platform fits the Velocity and Ion Kevlar headgear perfectly and work great on many other helmets too. The kit comes complete with tripod mounting screw, adjustable retention strap, attachment hardware, and mounting instructions.
