Standard Quick Release - Attaches to any helmet with a flat surface for secure mounting and quick release of your video or still cameras. The quick release is threaded for ¼ -20 and 3/8" and will work with all video, 35mm and medium format cameras. It snaps in quickly to positively lock the camera down to any flat surface and releases with the push of a front release lever. The unit measures 3.25” x 2.5” x 3/4” (LxWxH) and weights 7.75 ounces. This quick release mounts easily to the top of any helmet with a flat surface. To mount to your helmet simply drill a hole on the top surface of a flat top helmet. Secure the bottom plate down to the top of the helmet by using the appropriate diameter screw through the inside of the helmet (screw not included). Next, using the supplied 1/4" tripod socket screw, fasten the camera to the top plate. Then simply snap the top plate to the bottom plate and you’re ready to go.
